Researcher Development Framework Consultation Workshop30 November 2009

Event overview

The Researcher Development Framework (RDF) consultation process has been formally launched and stakeholders have until 11th December to respond.

The role of the Vitae East of England Hub in the consultation is to raise awareness and to encourage individual and institutional engagement in the process across the region. In order to help familiarise the region with the RDF and to focus a response, Imelda Race (UEA), who is a member of the Vitae RDF Working Group, has organised a facilitated session, which will take place at the UEA, on behalf of the Hub.

The session will provide an opportunity for those who play a role in supporting the development of research postgraduates and staff to discuss the draft framework and to share hopes, concerns, ideas for improvement and ways of using the tool to help inform our practice.

There is a maximum of 15 places available at the event on Monday 30th November and the session will run from 10.30 until 3.30.  Places will be allocated on a 'first come' basis.  Please complete the booking form to secure your place at this event.

Further details about the RDF and the consultation documents can be found at www.vitae.ac.uk/rdfconsultation
