Vitae RDF conditions of use
RDF conditions of use
The Vitae Researcher Development Framework (RDF) was developed to describe the knowledge, behaviours and attributes of successful researchers and to enable the development of associated professional development resources.
The RDF was developed by Vitae, which is managed by CRAC: The Career Development Organisation.
Vitae provides access to the RDF Materials including but not limited to the RDF graphics, briefings and the RDF methodologies. The RDF and the Researcher Development Statement (RDS) derived from it were developed with the UK higher education sector and are available to the higher education sector and Vitae members strictly for non-commercial use within these conditions of use.
The aims of these terms and conditions are to:
- ensure all users benefit from the collaborative and rigorous approach to development by protecting the integrity of the Vitae RDS and RDF in their totality and the RDF Materials
- ensure that the RDF and the RDF Materials remain consistent and transferable so that researchers can use them throughout their development
- support the implementation of the RDF through a process which enables the RDF to be adapted with Vitae permission to meet specific requirements
- protect the RDS, RDF and the RDF Materials from inappropriate use
